Student Calling Program
The Student Calling Program (SCP) employs between 30 and 40 students throughout the academic year. These students are involved in a variety of fundraising campaigns and, for many U of A Alumni, provide the sole link in communication with the University. The SCP also does thank you calls to all donors to the University of Alberta, as well as event calls to let alumni know about events that are happening on campus.
Via the telephone, our Callers are able to develop their abilities to distribute information, become familiar with a variety of campus events and University advancements, and create their own network of Alumni across Canada.
We offer our Team very flexible hours and an opportunity to work on campus. We work hard. We play hard. We are developing a fun, goal-oriented incentive program, and offer opportunities for regular pay raises to ensure our team is driven and focused.
The SCP is now located downtown at Enterprise Square (the old Bay building), this is easily accessible from the University by LRT, as the Bay LRT station is in the basement of the Enterprise Square Building!
